Acuity Medical is actively exploring devices that will dramatically improve the quality of vision for individuals with dry age related macular degeneration (AMD).  The company’s R&D focus is currently on AMD clinical devices that can be used by professionals in their offices, in clinics and hospitals and for use in skilled nursing environments.  In addition the company is continuing to develop devices that are smaller in size, easier to use for individuals with AMD and would require only periodic maintenance.
